Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Exceeds 7 Million Dollars in Online Sales –  Broward County Public Schools (BCPS), the sixth largest public school system in the nation, completed the initial six month deployment of an Online School Payment solution with over 7 million dollars in online Sales. Both Parents and Faculty have embraced the school district solution as a means to decrease fraud and eliminate the need for children to carry cash and checks to school.

OSMS Community Events Series –  In an effort to give back to the local community, OSMS will once again be hosting a variety of charity and training rides this summer. Join us in helping raise money for a variety of charities or just a local community ride. The Blizzard of 2010 and OSMS Provides a Helping Hand –  As the Snow Storm of the Century paralyzes the Federal Government in Washington D.C., OSMS personnel work in shifts to provide ongoing support for nationwide clients and find time to volunteer services to help local charities. Tony Watkins led a group of volunteers to deliver food to the elderly and provide for transportation services to local hospitals. OSMS is committed to helping both local and national charities in making a difference in our communities.

Schools Employee Charged With Fraud –  A technology manager for District schools who stuck schoolchildren with his tabs for thousands of dollars worth of lavish restaurant meals, nightclub jaunts and a visit to a strip club was charged yesterday with filing fraudulent expense reimbursement requests.

Audit of High School Shows Lots of Red Ink –  Parents wondered why they had to pay for textbooks. Auditors warned that sloppy record-keeping was causing problems.

Woman Charged With Stealing Money From School District –  The U.S. Attorney has charged a Berks County woman with stealing approximately $92,000 from the Wilson School District while she worked in the district's finance office.

Student Money Vanishes, but Few Are Punished –  Activity Funds Are Often Plundered and Mismanaged by Adults, with over $72,000 extorted from DC City Schools.

Cash, checks stolen from Erma Siegel school –  About $24,000 worth of checks stolen from Erma Siegel Elementary School was canceled after the documents were stolen last week from the school, a Murfreesboro Police supervisor said.

$8,000 Stolen From Safe in High School in Roslyn –  For the past two years, since the first signs of the theft that would eventually unfold as an $11 million larceny of school funds, people here have reminded everyone that the real victims of the fraud were the students.
